About Fiona

I’m an independent advisor working at the intersection of brand experience, customer insight and design strategy. I love working closely with the personalities making up founder-led and creative teams to create beautiful experiences with lasting commercial and emotional impact.

My perspective has been shaped by experience across Apple, Facebook, Accenture and the European Commission, as well as projects for brands including Meta, Ford and E.ON. I hold a PhD in Design Strategy and teach Creative Direction at Central Saint Martins in London.

  • Creative Leadership Training

    Since 2023, I’ve worked with Central Saint Martins, London, to train more than 180 emerging creative professionals in Creative Direction. Through a five-day intensive, I help students move from instinct to strategy: Sharpening their creative judgement, understanding audiences more deeply, and turning original ideas into commercially impactful work. The result is more confident, more connected and more strategically aware creative leadership.

    I advised a global tech leader to decipher how to build a thriving ecosystem around a next-generation computing platform. Leveraging insights from early adopters and emerging disciplines, I developed strategies to incentivise engagement and seed an engaged global user base. This work laid the foundation for a new industry standard computing platform, paving the way for the tech’s long-term success

    I collaborated with a global automotive leader to transform an iconic vehicle into a sustainable subscription-based model. By first exploring and gathering stakeholder insights, I developed a future-ready product strategy that aligned user needs with changing market expectations.     I guided a global sportswear retailer in the transformation from product-focus towards being a multifaceted business. This included a new tech platform. Starting with exploratory research and proposition strategy, I assessed the feasibility of new product-market opportunities. This expanded the brand’s horizon for fitness tech and new subscription business models
